The purpose of the Instrumentation Lab is to provide a common platform to carry out the sheet metal works, lathe operations, tool operations, welding processes and other common manufacturing operations such as metal cutting, drilling, shaping, grinding, fitting works etc. This lab also provides support to prepare the required workpieces and test objects for the other laboratories of the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department.
This lab is well equipped with different types of machines including Manual Lathes, Manual Milling and Drilling Machines, Grinding Machine, Band Saw, Hack Saw, Jig Saw, multiple kinds of Power Tools, Lapper and Polisher etc. to do all required work effectively.
The Instrumentation Lab is located at the Ground Floor in the East Block of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department (MIED).
